Josh Sherrell - Pastoral Background

Josh was born and raised in Southwest Florida, where he has been in ministry since 2010. He earned his MDiv. in Biblical & Theological Studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky (2022), where he is currently in the final stages of earning a Ph.D. in Historical & Theological Studies. He and his wife, Carolina, were married in 2009 and have four children: Emma, Conner, Ellie, and Easton (from oldest to youngest). 

 

Josh was installed as the Lead Pastor of Cornerstone on July 13, 2025, and looks forward to lifelong ministry here in Central Maine. His pastoral vision centers on expository preaching and discipling believers for spiritual growth—guiding them to a deeper relationship with Christ and a greater desire to share Christ with others—rooted in theological rigor and joyful devotion to God.
