Our Pastor:

Wayne Denny - Pastoral Background

Wayne is a native of New Brunswick, Canada, where he pastored for seven years before coming to Maine in 1991. He did his graduate work with Trinity Theological Seminary in Indiana completing Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Literature degrees.

He has been the pastor of Cornerstone since its inception in 1995. His preferred method of preaching is expository – going through a book of the Bible verse by verse, expounding its Christo-centric message. His heart is to stir up greater Love, Understanding and Awe of Christ and to encourage greater nearness and likeness to Jesus.

He met his beautiful bride Linda at New Brunswick Bible Institute and they were married in 1979. Linda serves as an Administrative Assistant at Cornerstone. They are blessed with 3 married daughters and 9 wonderful grandchildren.

Pastoral Intern:

Ethan Grant

Ethan was born into a missionary family in Cochabamba, Bolivia. After over a decade of overseas ministry, his family returned to New Brunswick, Canada. It was there that God closed the door to Ethan's career plans, leading him to attend New Brunswick Bible Institute. There, God placed a desire for evangelism, discipleship, and preaching on his heart.

During his final year of school, he began an internship at Cornerstone while finishing up his coursework. Following his graduation, he obtained his Bachelor of Biblical Studies.

Ethan met his wife, Gretchen, at New Brunswick Bible Institute and they were married in 2023.
